This iPad case with all the gratuitously handmade details include hand waxed canvas made from scratch with a vegetarian recipe (and no petroleum byproduct), gently felted black wool lining, bittersweet leather and a heavy duty chrome buckle to hold you ipad in place.. The vintage olive canvas at the bottom is repurposed from Italian infantry gunnysacks. This item has been sprayed with Scotchgard to protect the fabric.

Sessa Carlo Series - inspired by mid century wilderness and military gear with solid construction built for use with a classic modernist design. Every detail is practical, elegant and lends to the overall design of the individual item. This series was named after the first vintage gunnysack I ever bought with the name of the previous owner still in the name tag slot. Yes, there is a Sessa Carlo out there. He was probably an infantry guy, at that time in the 1950s, 18 and scared out of his wits.
